The final family photo of Matthew Perry alongside his father was posted by the star on his Instagram account two weeks back.

 

The heartbreaking snap is being examined in detail as the world mourns the loss of the popular Hollywood actor who reportedly died on Saturday during the afternoon hours. 

Perry was pictured posing with his 82-year-old father John and the pair looked so happy together. Moreover, the family has reportedly broken silence on the matter and just cannot come to terms with the devastating and shocking news that no one saw coming by miles. 

The celeb was found dead at the age of 54 after drowning in his own private jacuzzi at his residence, sources confirmed to Daily Mail yesterday. 

While the star seemingly was very open about his struggles regarding addiction in the past, sources mentioned how no drugs were found at the scene of his death while one friend who last spoke to the actor added how he sounded sober and positive.

The last picture with his dad was put on his social media account Instagram during the middle of October. This was just two weeks before the news of his death arose. 

“Here is me, and my dad John. We are both holding a beverage” the star mentioned alongside the picture, where the pair were seen holding cups of soda. 

Friends fans were quick to point out how his dad John also made a guest appearance on the hit series episode in 1998 called The One With Rachel’s New Dress.

This particular episode had John play the role of a very wealthy dad of Tay Donovan’s character Joshua, who happened to be playing the role of the steamy lover of Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel.

The family says they would like their privacy respected during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of an incredible human being who is no longer with them.
