Renowned celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey is making jaws drop around the globe when he reportedly announced the price of a meal on New Year’s at his famous flagship restaurant in the United Kingdom.
Sources claim that the price of the dinner on New Year’s would cost a staggering $750 and people are literally losing their minds.
The news comes just in time for the festive reason when the celebrity could be seen sending out teasers for the menu samples of his restaurant. This is reportedly located at Chelsea’s Royal Hospital Road.
And for those who don’t know, it’s the world’s third most expensive eatery.
If you wish to dine there, make sure you set aside a good $400 to $600 for one single meal.
Now, if you wish to benefit from the likes of wine pairing to ring in the new year then customers would be set back at least $400 per person. But is the menu really worth it?
Well, you’ve got the likes of Turkey, Scallops, Duck Tea, Roasted Veal, and then sweetbread too.
Lobster and sole with a generous helping of potatoes and chives would also be included. But food critics have one thing to say. And that is how come similarly famous television chefs are offering holiday feasts at cheaper prices.
Meanwhile, others felt that the time has come to really call out Gordon Ramsey for his exuberant prices that are touching the skies for no good reason.
In addition to the Christmas day sample menu, Ramsey has put together a separate 7-course meal for the Savoy hotel. Here, you’ll find the prices touching the $350 mark per head.
As you can imagine, people couldn’t help themselves from speaking about how wrong it was to deceive customers and loot them with their money on the biggest holidays of the year.
