Meghan Markle has taken a swipe at Kate Middleton recently by mentioning how she was a more heartwarming individual that adores hugging people.

The Duchess of Sussex left no stone unturned by sharing with the public in her new documentary what it was really like to meet Will and Kate for the first time in her life.

Meghan detailed the event as extremely jarring for her, shortly after her relationship with Harry came into the spotlight.

In that particular ordeal on Netflix, both Harry and Meghan went on about the initial interaction of the Duchess with Kate and Will.

Meghan could not stop talking about how formal both the Prince and Princess of Wales were as this was not something that she was accustomed to.

She continued to add how she didn’t know about that much royal protocol at the time and hence went about greeting the couple barefoot in her ripped jeans and a casual top.

She went on to claim that she has always been a hugger since day one. And she is not familiar with the huge formal affair type of scenario that was in front of her.

“I was a hugger and am a hugger and will always be a hugger!”- the Duchess explained. And then she said that it was very jarring for many Brits to see that, putting special emphasis on her meeting with Kate Middleton.

“I guess it did not take me long to realize that the formality on the outside was the same on the inside”- she added.

Meghan Markle continued to mention how it did not take her a long time at all to realize that the royals would behave like this both behind closed doors and in the public. She thought it would be a clear distinction but that was not the case.
