Bruce Willis has spoken out for the first time since he was diagnosed with dementia.
In a new video shared on Instagram, Willis can be seen celebrating his 68th birthday with his family.
The clip shared by his ex-wife Demi Moore, 60, also showed him speaking to his wife Emma Heming Willis, 44, and daughters Scout, 31, Rumer, 34, and Tallulah, 29, and other loved ones who surrounded him while singing him a happy birthday.
The actor then gave them a high-five as they enjoyed the celebration.
Moore captioned the heartwarming post: “Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family.
“Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them.”
People flooded the comments section, including actress Selma Blair who said: “Happy birthday to the best Bruce Willis chapstick giver ever. All love. All held in that love.”
British drag queen Baga Chipz commented: “Love you Demi. Big love to Bruce and his family.”
Nia Long also said: “This is LOVE.”
Fans were also delighted to see Willis speaking and laughing with his loved ones.
One wrote: “He seems A LOT better than I was picturing. Yes I know, this is probably just a good moment amongst countless beast breaking and bleak times… but I’m glad he and the family could have this one. So glad he has an amazing family. Even though they’re no longer together… Demi and Bruce… THERE is couples goals.”
