Famous pop band singer Sarah Harding has passed away at the age of 39 after losing her battle against breast cancer.
The Girls Aloud star ‘slipped away peacefully’ as mentioned by her mother who broke the news to friends, family, and thousands of followers this morning.
While thanking all the fans for their immense strength as well as comfort throughout her battle against breast cancer, her mother broke the tragic news that left many numb and in shock.
Heartfelt tributes began pouring in for the star who many looked up to for inspiration, keeping in mind her famous career as a leading member of the group Girls Aloud.
In August of 2020, Sarah disclosed her health status to her followers, explaining to them how she had been devastated while battling the disease for a few months. In the same way, she updated them with her weekly chemotherapy sessions too.
Throughout her battle, she even went about writing and releasing a book that spoke miles about her painful journey and her strive to battle against it.
Sarah didn’t shy away from revealing personal details about her cancer, and that’s when she told fans how several tumors began to develop inside her brain and lungs but they started to shrink after her therapy.
Meanwhile, according to one close source to the star, Sarah also spoke about being on a journey that revolved around finding herself as a musician and then rebranding as a blues artist too. And that’s because she truly felt that is where her passion lay.
Sarah was also renowned as a model thanks to her stunning looks. She also made a name for herself as an actress with a debut in the St. Trinian’s film series as well.
Her collaborations with stars like Cheryl Tweedy and Nadine Coyle led to the formation of the famous Girls Aloud girl band while participating in the popular reality show Pop Stars: The Rivals. Today, loved ones and followers long her loss, as they recall her fighting spirit against breast cancer, until her last breath.
