Being able to watch a baby animal come into the world and take its first breaths for the very first time is an amazing experience not everyone will be able to watch firsthand.
Watching a video of it is still an absolutely amazing experience, too. It’s easy to forget how truly amazing it is, as it happens everyday, but it is truly a miracle! This tiger mom was carrying around her baby… or rather babies, as you will soon see, for months leading up to this amazing event.

As tigers are not native to this land and are particularly dangerous the chances of anyone watching a tiger mother give birth to her cubs is a rarity, but this video from a zoo will allow many of us to see the miracle in action for the very first time. It’s not only amazing, but cute to see the baby tigers!
After the tiger mother pushes out her baby, everyone in the enclosure are breathless as they wait for the baby tiger to move. Mama tiger isn’t giving up, as she helps her baby tiger come into the world for over two minutes. Concern is starting to spread among those watching as the baby tiger doesn’t appear to be breathing.
A few squeaks are heard, but everyone is still worried. The keepers are concerned as they may need to take the baby tiger away from the new mother, or the baby tiger may die.

However moments before the keepers begin to intervene, the baby tiger begins to move and everyone breathes a sigh of relief! A successful delivery for the mama tiger. But wait! This mother has a surprise in store for everyone, including the keepers who did NOT expect this! There’s another baby tiger on the way! Twins!
