A wife turns off the Wi-Fi every time her husband goes to the toilet, and she explained why!

The unnamed mom took to social media and asked if it was rude to cut her husband’s toilet breaks short. She says her husband spends a long time in there to avoid helping out with their babies.

The mother explained that they were both on their maternity and paternity leave but his trips to the toilet had become increasingly frequent since the arrival of their kids.

He started spending almost half an hour just so he wouldn’t have to help with their little ones.

She took to Reddit to share her situation and said that whenever it is her husband’s turn to do something, like sooth their baby or change a diaper, he ‘always’ goes to the toilet first.

“I would rather let him use the restroom first than have to put down a baby mid task, but over the past couple months he has been spending more and more time in there. He always takes his phone. He is always watching YouTube,” she wrote.

“His average session is 25 minutes in there, often longer, rarely shorter.”

The mother also said that it is most ‘frustrating’ during feeding time because one of their babies needs to be held in a certain position due to health reasons so it is impossible to double feed.

She gets up, warms their bottles up, changes one baby, feeds and burps the baby before placing them down then takes the other baby to change and feed before her man finishes his business in the toilet.

So she decided to turn the Wi-Fi off whenever he stays in the bathroom for over ten minutes.

“He has not spent more than 15 minutes in the bathroom at a stretch today, but is extremely upset,” she added.

One Redditor commented: “What kind of a man f*cks around on the internet while his baby screams and cries? He deserves it.”

Another wrote: “My soon-to-be ex husband. Really.”

A third added: “Id love to see how long his bathroom trips lasted if he didn’t take his phone into the bathroom for one day. If he wanted to truly be a supportive father/husband, he’d do that to try to break his habit.”
