What is there on earth that we have not heard about? Down’s syndrome? It is one of the most common syndromes to be found in the world making every 1000th born child suffering from the same.

Yes, the lives of people suffering from Down’s syndrome are not as easy and swift as others because they lack in development in both body and mind.

Although they grow up nut, not all of them turn out to be capable enough of taking care of themselves. While their life expectancy is very less as compared to other people, some of them still take chances and live life to their fullest.

Now the world is aware of the syndrome and thus several people affected by the syndrome are getting the right care to have a good chance of leading a close to normal life.

Gareth and Deana are two people out of thousands, who were lucky to find each other, fall in love, get married, and are not celebrating 27 years of their marriage together.

Gareth and Deana both suffer from Down’s syndrome and they met when they were just 17 and 19, Greath being the elder one.

They met at a community celebration and became friends. Greath had 3 girlfriends previously as well but when the two of them met, it did not take long enough for their friendship to turn into love and a relationship.

They both got engaged soon and told their families and then soon got married. They now hold the world record of the longest living marriage between two people with Down’s syndrome.

Greath’s mom says that just like every other relationship they had their ups and downs too but they managed to get out of them with each other. She says she still remembers the day of their wedding as clear as glass and it only fills her up with joy.
