A woman from Queensland was walking her dog one morning when she came across an adorable surprise.
Bree wrote: “I was walking my dog, Koda, on a cold morning in Dalby when on my way home a mob of tiny kittens came out of the grass meowing.”
When she looked closer, she was surprised to see ten small fluffy kittens! She didn’t want to leave the fur babies there so she thought of taking all of them with her.
She said: “Honestly, I thought they were little ferals coming out to attack my puppy and sort of stood back ’cause I thought mumma cat was going to come out, but they came right up, so I sat on the ground and they were purring and really hungry.”
However, she couldn’t carry all ten in her arms.
So she decided to go home first to get her car and come back to take all of them. But when she turned around to check on the kittens, she was astounded again to see them bouncing along the road! They were following her!
With a jump, skip, and a hop, all ten furry babies were coming after her.
“I couldn’t carry them all so I started walking home and they all followed me about a kilometer,” she expressed.
But kittens were not the only animals following her. Sheep and crows were also trying to catch up!
Bree arrived home with all the adorable kittens. She took all of them under her wing until they were adopted into their own forever homes. One stole her heart and she ended up keeping it.
She added: “I was disgusted that someone had just dumped them. If you can’t afford to desex your cat, or look after and find homes for kittens don’t own a cat.”
Luckily, Bree found them and it seemed like the kittens also chose her.
