108 illegal immigrants in Texas who tested positive for COVID reportedly released

More than 100 illegal immigrants who tested positive for coronavirus after arriving in Texas from late January have been released to Lone Star State by border guards, according to news reports.
Positive test takers are free to travel.

Why can they travel freely?

Some of the migrants, who decided to travel freely, explained why they were able to take to the streets despite testing positive for coronavirus.

“We were tested for COVID and they separated us,” said Miriam Izagurer, an immigrant from Honduras. “Because…Because we are positive. We’re waiting,” he said.
