You may have heard plenty of stories about the beautiful bond of friendship but this tale is one that’s guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes.
A 12-year-old boy went the extra mile and proved to others what the true meaning of friendship really is and needless to say, the internet was left beyond stunned and impressed.
Kaleb Klakulak and his pal K.J. Gross were the best of friends. Their bond began at a young age and many people called them two a kind. While the boys wished to spend so many more years together, near one another, destiny had other plans.
Tragically, young K.J. passed away just a few months back due to congestive heart failure and it was a loss that not too many people came to terms with, including young Kaleb. But when he heard that his late best friend’s family couldn’t even afford to get a headstone for his grave, he knew he had to step in and do something about that.
For that reason, he informed his mum of his great plans and how he planned to raise money for the gravestone.point 205 |

Kaleb asked around for headstone rates, just so he could get an idea about how much money he needed to achieve his target. And that meant working odd jobs to raise enough funds. Therefore, the 12-year-old opted to collect soda bottles and then exchanged them for plenty of recycling deposits.
Next, his mum assisted him in setting up a PayPal account, just so people would donate towards his goal too. And before you knew it, the young child raised more than $2500. He handed over the money to his late best friend’s mum who was on the verge of tears at his thoughtful gesture.
Truly, this young man deserves a round of applause for doing what he did, setting an example of friendship for so many around the globe. Do you agree?
