During the auditions of “America’s Got Talent,” a 13-year-old boy walks in on the stage and takes it by storm through his hip-hop performance.
The judges and audiences are spellbound by the level of performance by the boy. An original hip-hop piece by the boy renders them awestruck.
The boy calls himself ‘Patches’ and brilliantly answers the questions thrown in by the judge of the show, Howie Mandel. One of the questions thrown at him by the judge inquired on what would he do with the prize money of the competition if he were to win it.
Without having a second thought, the boy replied that he would like to get a ticket of ‘Hamilton’ on the Broadway if he was to win the prize money.
It seems the boy has complete clarity of understanding – The boy is believed to be completely sure of what he is going to do at the audition.
When he was asked about what his performance was going to be at the audition, he had replied that his song was all about the essence of performing.
Now that is something that must have touched some chords over there.Replies from the boy, ‘Patches’ were highly interesting due to the fact that it was all spontaneous and only his performance was choreographed and nothing at all. All this helped in keeping the crowd interested in him.
It was a memorable audition for ‘Patches’ – After the judges interacted with him, they had somewhat understood the genius mind of the boy. Ultimately, when he was asked to perform his auditions, he came out with his baseline hits and his first line and the people were sure that it was all about rapping hip-hop.
They couldn’t stop themselves from joining in, including the judges and the audition went on to become one of the most memorable ever in the history of the show.
