A fourteen-year-old boy has recently been charged with the murder of a thirteen-year-old cheerleader who had been missing for hours.
The cheerleader’s corpse was found on Sunday night, 12 hours after the report of her absence.
Aiden Fucci, 14, has been named by the police as the main suspect for the death of cheerleader, Tristyn Bailey. He is now in custody on the charges of second-degree murder, prosecutors are unsure whether to mark the crime as a juvenile case or an adult case.
Tristyn’s body was found in the woods located near Fucci’s household.
Tristyn was found fully clothes and the police stated that she had been reported missing at 10 am the day her body was found. She was last seen 1:12 am, the two know each other by sharing classes at Patriot Oaks Academy.
Law enforcement officials say that “we have arrested a suspect by the name of Aiden Fucci, 14 year old. He is currently in custody charged with second degree murder. This is a long process, we’re in the very early stages of this. The suspect is in custody – there are no further threats to this case.”
Tristyn was reported missing and there were a handful of local volunteers that joined in hopes that they could find her alive.point 219 |

The last time the girl had been seen was at Durbin Amenity Center in St. John’s around 1:15 am. People do not know if the boy had been with her at that time.
