Just like History, Fashion repeats itself.
Retro flared jeans, turtlenecks, overalls, and denim never gets old. Innovation and pure creativity seems to be the key to fashion design, but it’s obvious almost everything is borrowed in the past. Successful fashion designers produce too fast too many because most of it are just tweaks of previous fashion trends.
Most of such designs quickly make it to trending board provided they don’t wander off too far from comfort and conformity.point 372 |
However, every now and then, there will always be that designer brave and bold enough to think way right out of the box.point 98 | They are the risk takers, the pure artist who is selfish enough to create works of art for their own consumption.point 191 | For them, it’s always make it big time or break the usual.point 240 |

#1 Low-rise Teaser. Sexy from afar but up close a bit cheesy and overdone, noting the fact that you deliberately made union of jeans and thongs. Men doesn’t mind this of course, as long as we see flesh that’s alright.

#2 Westerosports. I didn’t know Game of Thrones is actually a game with team jerseys. In a petty attempt to ride on the trending show’s ever growing fame, it sadly and considerably takes away the show’s classic elegance. I wonder if it comes in Tyrion size.
#3 Return to Sender. It’s a postal-letter-inspired blouse with “Intellectuals Unite” written across the chest. Tooo Geeeky!
#4 Groped From Within. Not much, just a perverted version of the usual bra.
#5 Despicable Me. It’s just a futile attempt to ride on the fame of Gru and his Minions. Did the designer forget that this Movie was for kids, or did he just really want to live up to the word despicable?
#6 Sweat Pa_ts. Fill in the blanks. To be sure it makes a statement, why not take away the middle part. Simply annoying.

#7 Fringes and Tassels. Unique? Checked. It looks like fish dorsal fins are sticking out everywhere.
#8 Denim Demise. Ever had that mistake of cutting a fully-functional clothing into something fancy and regretted it instantly the first cut of the scissor? Yup just like this. This design defeats the purpose of a denim jacket. I mean when should you use an off-shoulder one?

#9 Fishnet Tights. With all the curves and folds here, it looks like it’s made out of chainmail. Not tight enough for tights and too short for stockings.
#10 Wrong Joint. Remember those convertible clothes where sleeves can be detached or pants turn into short pants, this is one of them. However, it just doesn’t work cutting it this way.
#11 Possessed. Take a night dip at the pool while calling out the restless souls.
#12The Biker Jacket. Yep, it actually is. But rather than putting this on, it’s colored-linings design would match any colored hanger. And be sure to keep it locked up in the closet.
#13 Blaze of Glory. Bad Ass? Almost. Except why do those flames seem to be blown from the back-front? Do I need to walk backwards to make it look cool? It’s confusing.

#14 Use the Force. “Smoke pot, I will. Bong, Light Saber I use. Wear this shirt, I won’t.” –Yoda
#15 Aliens Amongst Us. Greetings, we come in peace. Sexy no more.
#16 High Waist. This could just be the most unique overall of all overalls all over time. It’s basically just climbing into an over-sized pants.

#17 Sex Change. The idea is simply amusing. But I doubt the most masculine of women would ever consider wearing this suit for kicks, how much more swimming in it.
#18 Crime Scene. A leggings could never stress enough how it’s under-contents are prohibited.
#19 Black and White. It’s could’ve been mysterious but the print just gave it away. In this list however, this is the most wearable.
#20 Anatomy 101. The effort is commendable and definitely a head-turner but just when could be the appropriate occasion to wear this shirt? The Halloween perhaps?
