A 21-year-old woman, who was fit and healthy, has died of coronavirus and her family is left devastated.
Chloe Middleton had no medical issues before she died of coronavirus.
Her family took to Facebook to express their grief and said they are going through the most unimaginable pain.
Chloe’s mother Diane Middleton, from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, urged everyone to take the virus seriously and stay indoors as she lost her beloved daughter who had no underlying health issues.
Diane Middleton wrote on Facebook: “To all the people out there who think it’s just a virus please think again. Speaking from a personal experience this so-called virus has taken the life of my 21-year-old daughter.”
Chloe’s aunt described her as a beautiful and kind-hearted person who passed away without having any prior health issues.
She warned everyone about the virus after losing her niece and urged to follow the government’s guidelines to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
She said they are shattered and going through the most unimaginable pain.
Chloe’s aunt wrote: “The reality of this virus is only just unfolding before our very eyes. Please, please adhere to government guidelines. DO YOUR BIT. Protect yourselves and protect others!”
She said people are helping the virus spread by going out and not staying at home amid coronavirus crisis.
Chloe’s aunt said unless we stay at home and follow the guidelines, the virus will continue to spread and take people’s lives around the world.
She wrote: “Life as we know it has changed dramatically but unless we all act now to protect ourselves and others, the longer this turmoil and anguish will go on. Rest in peace Chloe. Until we meet again…”
Chloe is currently the youngest person in the UK to have died of coronavirus.
465 people have died of coronavirus in the UK alone while the virus has killed 20,000 globally.
