Lennox Salcedo is only three and knows how important highlight-reel plays are.
He was poised on the third base, desperate to score, and when his chance arrived, he made sure to make the most out of it.
He ran for the plate similar to the way the big league ballplayers do. When the camera turned towards him, he knew that this was his moment and has to make it memorable.
When he ran for the plate, he turned into the super slow mode. Counting every step he is taking, making certain gestures like the big-league players.
And even when his coach shouted to run fast, he continued with his slow-mo sprint. He put every foot precisely, pumped his arms, and took as much time possible to make the moment unforgettable.
There is no doubt that he could envision the news channels streaming his footage. Maybe his coach forgot to tell him that the slow-mo sprint is done in the post production – the players actually don’t move like that.
Or it is possible that Lennox didn’t want to take any chances with his epic run. Whatever the reason was, it took Lennox around 30-40 seconds to cover the distance of 30-feet.
However, the crowd was supportive enough to cheer Lennox every inch of the way.
His father, who also happens to be the coach of the team tried to help Lennox, but apparently, he was interfering with his moment, so he simply shrugged him off.
Well, he just wanted to savor the moment and as the score is not kept, the rest of the players decided not to ruin Lennox’s slow-mo stint.
People had just witnessed how a sportsman’s first moment of glory looks like, but there is no denial that Lennox’s act was an expression of comedic brilliance.
