The job of a cashier is already a hectic job as he has to count and make a record of all the money.
But if a customer pays in the form of pennies, who hard it becomes for the cashier to count that hefty amount of pennies when a long line is waiting behind the customer who pays in the form of pennies.
Nick Stafford choose a unique way to teach a lesson to the local Department of Motor Vehicles because he called them and asked a question which was supposed to be replied with a few seconds. This question was about his property and car. He inquired that from where he can complete the registration of his car and pay the sales tax on both car and property. He also mentioned the location of his houses.
As no one responded to his call and even call was hung up, he then decided to take help from the law and made a request for freedom of information act.
He took three legal actions when nobody spoke out for three times.
Richmond was sent from the A. G office as a representative came with dismissing letters of those legal actions. They provided Nick with all the numbers he requested for.Stanford then decided to teach a lesson to Lebanon DVM, he wanted to test the patience of DVM the way this patience was tested. He brought five carts that had a wheel in the DVM office.
The carts contained pennies which he was going to pay for the car he owns. The amount of tax he had to pay was $2,987.14 and he chooses to pay this amount in the form of pennies. Those pennies had a weight of 1,000 pounds.

The machine of counting coins at DVM could not count such a hefty amount of coins, Stafford had to appoint people to count the coins, which were 11 in number and they were hired at 10$ per hour.
Moreover, the employes of the office also counted the coins themselves. Both the hired personals and the carts in which Stanford placed the coins, cost him $440 and 400.
So, Stanford chose a different way to prove his point and taught a lesson to the DVM office that testing patience is not a good thing all the way.
