No matter how many times you’ve been taught about how to act in emergency situations, it’s difficult to maintain calm when it actually happens.
And especially for young kids, they wouldn’t know what to do if someone beside them was choking, or even having a seizure.
But, here is a five-year-old who saved her mother’s life in such frightening situation – with her super-strength and quick decision.
Tracy Anderwald and her daughter Allison was swimming in the backyard pool, enjoying their day out in the sun. They were having a blast, playing Marco Polo.
Then, suddenly, something terrible happened. When Tracy woke up later, she found herself in the hospital. And how she ended up there save and sound was incredible.

It turned out that Tracy lost conscious and began to have a seizure in the middle of the pool.
And no one was there beside her, except for her young daughter.
Instead of freaking out, like anyone would have in this situation, Allison looked at her mother and realized that she needed to get help.
Her mother wasn’t playing – she was facing down for too long, and she wasn’t moving at all.
So, Allison swam near her mother, shook her to see if she was alright. When her mother did not respond, Allison pulled Tracy to the side and had her head up out of water.

Then, Allison ran as fast as she could to get help.
Fortunately, Tracy’s sister, Tedra Hunt, was walking over to the house to visit them at the time.
“The doctors explained to us that had Tracy been underwater any longer, she probably wouldn’t be with us right now,” said Tedra in an interview with the USA Today.
I can’t imagine how this little girl had the strength to move an adult – it’s definitely a miracle! Without her help, Tracy would not have made it safely to the hospital.
“It’s amazing that this little girl, who’s actually also pretty small for her age, was able to save my sister,” added Tracy.
