You may have across a number of real-life stories where young kids end up doing some brilliant things without their parents noticing, but this one just might take the cake amongst them all.
Bethany Howell is a mother to a beautiful and smart 6-year-old daughter. But she claims her daughter did something that she would have never even imagined her to do in a million years. Little Ashlynd sneaked into her mother’s cellphone and did something that no child would ever dream of.
And that means using her sleeping mother’s thumbprint to purchase toys worth a staggering amount of $250 from Amazon. Yikes, how’s that for some shocking news.
Ashlynd used her mom’s device in the most intricate manner and didn’t even manage to wake her up along the process. If that’s not what you call genius behavior, then we’re not quite sure what is.
The mother spoke during a recent interview where she recalled how tired she was that day and hence fell asleep but she did say that her daughter was wide awake.point 432 |
Hence, the mum put up a movie for her child to enjoy while she off for a nap.point 60 | But little did she know that her child was more interested in other things and that included ordering toys online.point 155 | 1
Ashlynd unlocked her mom’s phone with her mom’s thumbprint as she was asleep. And then she logged into Amazon Prime to buy different Pokemon toys while making sure they get delivered right on time to her doorstep.
Her mom had no clue what her daughter was up to and found out about the surprise until the next day. And that’s when she began receiving notifications in the form of constant emails about her shipment and how it was on its way.
This was clearly something that the mum was not anticipating as she had never engaged in such bizarre behavior in the past. Also, her mom didn’t even know that little Ashlynd knew about Amazon. So she was definitely taken aback.
After the incident, Ashlynd’s mum and dad had a long talk with her, explaining how what she did was not okay. The 6-year-old did apologize and promised never to do something like that again. However, who knows what the child could be up to next after this genius act. Do you agree?
