Benedict Cumberbatch’s home was recently invaded by a dangerous intruder, causing fear and panic among the actor and his loved ones.

According to reports from local media outlets, the unidentified man was believed to be holding a very sharp and dangerous object and went all the way inside by breaking into his residence.

The man also threatened the star and his family, and sources claim it was just a horrifying and tragic situation to be in.

The incident reportedly took place at the Marvel star’s residence that’s located in the north of London. Sources went on to add how it was just mortifying for him and his family to have gone through something like this.

On the other hand, insiders close to the star mentioned how he and his wife feared for their lives and that too of their young children.

But later on, speculations grew large that the intruder was none other than the star’s former kitchen worker who was clearly an uninvited guest on the property, considering he held a large and dangerous object in his hand.

That man was seen screaming at the top of his lungs, ‘I know you are in here. I know you have left your old property here. But I hope this home of yours burns down!”- yikes, how’s that for a major wakeup call?

Sources added how the actor, his wife, and their three young kids happened to be at the residence during that time.

Other reports went on to reveal how the star and his kids could hear the man screaming at the top of his lungs. They did not hesitate in calling for more security as they could see him donning the sharp object across his hand.

He then went about ripping the intercom and took a potted plant and smashed it against the wall. Moreover, he did flee the scene by the time the cops arrived but they still tracked him down, moments later.
