The Queen of Pop and the Unholy hitmaker are teaming up for ‘the most vulgar song ever’.
Madonna, 64, and Sam Smith, 31, are set to join forces to release a new song titled Vulgar.
The most-anticipated release comes almost four months after Sam, who uses gender-neutral pronouns, sparked a ‘sat*nic’ panic after their Grammys performance in February.
The Grammy-winning singer sported a headgear with horns as they performed with Kim Petras, sparking a lengthy debate online.
Viewers turned to social media to express their frustrations, with one person writing: “You don’t have to be super religious to be disturbed by that Sam Smith dev*l-worshiping performance.”
Another tweeted: “I know we on the right probably use the word sat*nic too often but this performance from Sam Smith is literally a tribute to Sat*n.”
A third said: “That dev*l worshipping performance was trash. And it’s been done so many times. I’m disappointed af.”
But the negative remarks did not pull Sam down as they have continued to use the same theme throughout their Gloria Tour.
The Stay With Me singer was recently forced to cancel their UK shows because of vocal cord problems.
Last Wednesday, viewers were shocked after they suddenly canceled their concert in Manchester after only a few songs.
Sam then released a statement explaining they could not continue after noticing ‘something was really wrong’ with their vocal cords.
The singer has also revealed that they could suffer permanent voice damage if they do not take a vocal rest.
On Wednesday, Madonna confirmed the release by sharing a photo on social media. The picture shows a black-and-white, side-by-side shot of two corsets with both Sam’s and Madonna’s initials, with ‘S&M’ written over the photo.
