Elvis Presley’s wife, Priscilla Presley, has shared a photo of her with her granddaughters Riley Keough, and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood, putting an end to any signs of a family feud.
The grandmother, 74, was celebrating the graduation of Finley and Harper, 14, writing: “Happy Graduation girls! You’re now in high school!!!!”
This comes only days after it was reported that Riley agreed to pay Priscilla $1.4 million settlement to take over the family trust.
According to reports, Riley, 34, had been at loggerheads with Priscilla since the sudden death of her mother Lisa Marie Presley in January.
Lisa Marie, 54, died at the age of 54 after suffering from a possible cardiac arrest. She welcomed son Benjamin and daughter Riley with ex-husband Danny Keough but Benjamin passed away in 2020 at the age of 27.
She also welcomed twin daughters Finley and Harper in 2008 with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
In her latest settlement, Priscilla agreed to relinquish control of her late daughter’s estate in exchange for $1.4 million plus an undisclosed amount for ten years.
In a motion she filed this week, she wrote: “The settlement agreement contains private details regarding my daughter’s Trust that is to benefit my two minor granddaughters (14-year-old Harper and Finley, Lisa Marie’s children by fourth husband Michael Lockwood, 62).
“If this information were to become public, it could put me and my family’s safety at risk.”
It continued, as per Daily Mail: “This should subject me to significant danger, emotional distress and negatively affect my physical and mental health.
“It would also subject my son (musician Navarone Garibaldi, 36) and minor granddaughters to harassment and bullying. We have all been through enough.”
Riley also agreed with keeping the financial arrangement private, which includes paying her grandmother a certain amount ‘per year for 10 years or life’ plus $1 million and $300,000 to $400,000 in legal fees.
