Millie Bobby Brown has shared details about her ‘real adult relationship’ with Henry Cavill and says the Superman actor has ‘terms and conditions’ for their friendship.
Best known for her role in the hit series Stranger Things, Brown starred alongside Cavill in the movie Enola Holmes.
In an interview with Deadline, the actress revealed that her relationship with The Witcher star was completely different from the camaraderie she had with co-stars Charlie Heaton and Noah Schnapp on Stranger Things.
“The dynamic is distinct because Noah and Charlie have been a part of my life since I was 10. They feel like my schoolmates,” she expressed.
“However, with Henry, it’s an authentic adult relationship—a truly solid friendship, a remarkably wholesome one. It’s a connection with its own terms and conditions. I know Henry. He has his set of terms and conditions with me.
“Certain aspects of his personal life are off-limits. It’s like, ‘Millie, zip it. No prying.’ And I’m like ‘Message received.’”
Brown also said that unlike the bond she had with her Stranger Things co-stars, there are boundaries with Cavill, “and I respect that,” she added.
In a previous interview with Allure, she also opened up about how she approaches her work and how she transforms into different characters.
“I found joy in assuming different identities because I’ve always grappled with self-identity and my sense of belonging. Even in my youth, I often felt like I was a puzzle piece that didn’t quite fit into any given room. Loneliness was a bit of a struggle,” she revealed.
“I’d often feel alone in a bustling room, like an enigma, as if no one truly comprehended me,” the actress went on.
“That’s why I gravitated towards characters that people could understand and connect with, since it felt like no one could really relate to Millie.”
