Michael Jackson’s son Blanket has changed his name and looks completely unrecognizable in a rare public appearance with his brother Prince.
The 21-year-old stepped out in Las Vegas and celebrated what would have been his father’s 65th birthday.
He and Prince, 26, made an appearance at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, which hosts the Michael Jackson ONE show by Cirque du Soleil.
Cirque du Soleil’s website announced that the special event, named the ‘Blue Sapphire Birthday Celebration,’ featured a public Q&A session hosted by members of Michael Jackson’s estate.
The siblings took photos with the late King of Pop’s fans, and one fan even gave them a photo of their father standing next to an angel.
Bigi, formerly known as Blanket, sported a loose-fitting black shirt he matched with tight black pants.
Prince was seen wearing a gray t-shirt and a green baseball cap.
Fans were excited to see the brothers as they waited to interact with them.
Their late father passed away 14 years ago from acute propofol intoxication at the age of 50.
He had two children with his second wife, Debbie Rowe.
His first was Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., also known as Prince, and daughter Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, 25.
The late singer’s third child was Prince Michael Jackson II or Blanket. He decided to change his name to Bigi after being bullied for his moniker.
Bigi was 7, Paris was 11, and Prince was 12 when their father passed away.
The eldest son has taken an interest in acting and producing films like Hangin’ with the Homeboys and Daybreak while Blanket enjoys video gaming and martial arts.
Paris previously opened up about her mental health struggles and told Rolling Stone: “They always say, ‘Time heals,’ but it really doesn’t. You just get used to it.
“I live life with the mentality of ‘OK, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me.’
“So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.”
