Taylor Swift has shared major news related to her ongoing tour with her fans.
The beloved singer-songwriter took to social media to reveal that The Eras Tour – which has already broken many records in the music industry – will be immortalized with a special concert film that will be available to fans of the 33-year-old in theatres across North America.
“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon,” she said.
“Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America!”
The singer continued: “Tickets are on sale now at amctheatres.com. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk)”
According to Swift, the movie will premiere on October 13 at a number of AMC theaters across the States, Canada, and Mexico, whereas the tickets for the special release can already be found online.
The news comes just days after sources confirmed that Taylor will not be performing at the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show because she doesn’t see it as a career-defining move at this moment.
“Taylor is busy with her current tour, she has zero time to prepare a Super Bowl show, she will do it eventually, but she is in no rush at all to do it in Vegas or do it in the next couple of years,” one insider told DailyMail.com.
“She knows she is at her peak in her career and each move from this point on is as important as the next. Working on her current tour and recording her old music and working on new music and living life are taking up the majority of her time.”
Another source straight from the NFL confirmed that Taylor will definitely not be performing at the upcoming event in Las Vegas.
“Taylor will have her opportunity to be the Super Bowl Halftime Show and has been asked a handful of times but when it comes to next year and the show in Vegas, it will not be her,” they explained.
“She wants to be a part of the show at some point and is leaning towards doing it in a few years, especially if the Super Bowl is in Nashville. But when it comes to Vegas, any Taylor fans shouldn’t be excited that she is going to do it, because it isn’t happening.”
