It wouldn’t be wrong to mention how not everyone has what it takes to join the armed forces and make the sacrifices that some go through, only for the sake of their nation.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be wrong to mention that most of us should be doing more for veterans, as a kind gesture of appreciation. After all, they’ve literally laid down their lives for our betterment.
Some veterans are forced to return home but even then, their kind hearts and selfless nature continue to resound in the community. And this next story is proof of just that.
Therefore, when the Fox 5 news team heard about a woman who was doing so much for others, despite having very little for herself, they thought it was time to give back and make her feel special.
They headed down to the local Albertsons in Las Vegas to find out more about what she did. And that’s when they saw how he paid for other’s groceries, just to make their day each time.
These were complete strangers and for the veteran to step in and prove to the world that kindness still exists had some in awe. The cashier was nearly in tears but she remained silent because watching people just smile and be grateful to the core was the most beautiful sight she’d ever come across.
The veteran told the news crew that he was there to purchase food for his dogs and for herself. Despite being disabled, he had to do things on his own.
And without the right kind of funds for himself and her pets, times were getting tough for him.
Before, he helped others and now, it was time for him to get a treat. But when the Fox team told him why they were there, he burst into tears.Times had really gotten so tough for him. But knowing that he was in the care of great people who were rewarding him for kindness and services meant the world.
