One mother is garnering plenty of attention after revealing online how strict of a parent she is when it comes down to her kids.

But some of her rules are raising eyebrows including how she vows to never leave her daughter alone in the company of a male. And the justification she’s provided has left netizens divided.

According to her, the risk is just too much and not worth it. Therefore, even if it’s her child’s grandfather, she’s never leaving her alone.

The long list of rules really did take a lot of netizens by surprise. It included no hugging, no sleepovers, no late nights, and whatnot. The mother who is famous on social media says people might feel she’s crazy but she’s laid down her rules so her daughter can benefit the most.

While she agreed that no textbook exists when it comes down to parenting, one thing is for sure. You’ve got to put in rules that are applicable to all your kids so no one feels left out and each is treated equally.

In the same way, every person must be dealt with appropriately, and they must be made to understand how the rules are designed to provide them with nothing but benefits. But no matter what the mother was saying, people found her to be a little too harsh or extreme.

The mother also spoke about how there would be no keeping secrets with parents. Whatever is on your mind and in your heart, you will need to say it. And in that way, your child becomes your best friend, she added.
