Britney Spears’ estranged dad Jamie Jamie Spears has reportedly been hospitalized for weeks but doctors claim he needs to undergo immediate surgery after his condition started to worsen.

 

One insider source mentioned to Page Six how Jamie is not doing well and that’s why his close family has been called by his side during this difficult time. It’s believed that he underwent an infection that got severe with the passage of time.

Britney was pictured rushing to the hospital to be by her father’s side despite the duo’s troubled relationship. For those who may not be aware, Jamie is currently admitted to an infectious disease facility. 

Another source mentioned how the dad is severely ill at this moment in time and is being cared for under specific protection. 

The star is said to have a controversial history with her dad after the public became aware of a conservatorship which many dubbed toxic in nature because of the fact that Britney was being consumed physically and mentally into doing things against her will.

The famous father of Spears also was dealing with poor health in the past when he underwent complications from a knee replacement operation, nearly 16 years back. 

As reported by TMZ, he is known to have spent many months in the hospital before. And during that time, he was 25 pounds lighter because the hospitalization caused him to dramatically lose so much weight. 

The 41-year-old has been mentioning for years how she wants to mend her relationship with her father after learning about his hard struggles. 

But the duo lost contact and couldn’t keep in touch for so long because they refused to speak to one another. Moreover, in several instances, Spears mentioned how she felt like her father was trying to kill her.
