Every bride normally wishes that her best friend would share her special day in the role of a maid of honor.

 

However, this next story proves otherwise and it’s the bride’s own actions that have caused a rift in her friendship with her good pal. 

One woman has taken to the Reddit app to speak about how her own daughter was uninvited from a wedding because she was wheelchair-bound. And what made matters worse was how the bride was the child’s mom’s best friend. 

Throwing her years of friendship down the drain, the bride calmly explained how she just couldn’t allow her daughter to make it for this reason and that it would be great if she understood. 

But the mother was not only furious and disgusted by her action but beyond appalled. After all, the maid of honor does deserve a little more respect than this, right?

The bride and maid of honor have been friends since childhood. They have both been going to school together and have been in contact ever since. But it did not take long for the bond to be destroyed forever, one person added. 

“She just told me that my daughter was uninvited from the event. She apologized and said that since she’s disabled, it would be best for her to sit at home”- the mom continued. And if that was not brutal enough, she even mentioned that there was no space to accommodate the wheelchair. 

The 32-year-old bridesmaid says she was in tears and just could not believe what she was hearing. It’s like adding salt to her wounds because she loved her daughter very much and knows the pain that she feels for being in this situation. 

Her daughter was born with a congenital disorder and since then, she has been wheelchair-bound, the Reddit post went on to add.
