Paris Hilton welcomed her first child, Phoenix, in January this year, and the star has recently revealed her son’s first word.
The 42-year-old appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and talked about what it was like to be a mom to her 9-month-old baby.
She told Fallon: “It’s his first time in New York. He’s an amazing traveler, but this is his first time experiencing jet lag. So he’s been up ‘til midnight, 1AM.”
Hilton also shared Phoenix’s first word and fans can’t seem to get over it.
When asked if his first word was ‘mama,’ the media personlaity replied: “No. It was ‘yaaas.’”
Fallon laughed with the crowd before saying: “It was not. There’s no way. He said ‘yaaas?’”
“Yaaas, wonder where he got that from,” Hilton responded.
The proud mom also shared that her son’s favorite song is ‘Stars Are Blind,’ her 2006 hit from her debut studio album ‘Paris.’ She also said that Phoenix has ‘amazing taste in music.’
Hilton made an appearance on the show to promote her new track with Steve Aoki, ‘Lighter.’ She also has an upcoming album that it is set to be released next year.
The reality star shares her son with her husband Carter Reum, 42.
Her fans were quick to take to X, formerly known as Twitter, and expressed their thoughts on the news, with one person writing: “Paris Hilton said in an interview that her baby’s first word was ‘yaaas’ and… I believe her.”
Another wrote: “Paris becoming a mom is my favorite thing to happen ever!!!!”
In January, she opened up about her life as a mother. She said in a statement to People: “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
