Celine Dion was pictured enjoying a night out as her health battle continues.
The 55-year-old My Heart Will Go On hitmaker was spotted in the VIP section alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during Katy Perry’s residency concert in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
For the special occasion, the singer sported a leopard print dress and a black blazer while completing her look with large golden hoop earrings.
The concert comes just days after Dion was spotted enjoying a hockey match between the Vegas Golden Knights and Montreal Canadiens.
These rare sightings come a year after the singer retreated from the spotlight and postponed her concerts and tours to focus on her health and recovery as a result of her shock diagnosis.
As the Power of Love hitmaker revealed, she was diagnosed with Moersch-Woltman Syndrome, also known as the Stiff Person Syndrome.
The neurological disorder causes muscle stiffness and painful muscle spasms that may come and go as they please and typically get worse as the condition progresses.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%,” the singer announced back in May after postponing the Courage World Tour.
“It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up and I can’t wait to see you again!”
More recently, Celine’s older sister, Claudette, also spoke out and revealed the family was doing everything in their power to “alleviate her pain” and support her.
“She’s doing everything to recover. She’s a strong woman. It’s an illness we know so little about. There are spasms – they’re impossible to control,” she admitted.
“You know how people often jump up in the night because of a cramp in the leg or the calf? It’s a bit like that, but in all muscles. There’s little we can do to support her, to alleviate her pain.”
