Parents were left in a state of absolute fury after learning about a private school pastor in Florida who used violence to discipline young children.
According to reports from local media outlets, the pastor reportedly has plenty of charges being placed against him after the parents involved the cops about his horrifying actions against children at Florida’s private school.
He used to slam the fourth graders using a belt when inside the classroom if their behavior was not up to his standards. Moreover, he used to whoop them whenever he felt they were not behaving correctly, another added.
The news has sent shockwaves in the state as plenty of parents called this the worst form of child abuse, adding how they expected better from the school’s administration and authorities.
Many parents added how it’s appalling that a pastor could be engaged in such actions when they’re at the forefront in terms of calling for peace and unity.
The pastor has since then been identified as Terence Gray who is not a teacher but heads the administration. He walks into classrooms at the private and religious school and starts to fume. Moreover, he requested the students to stand up and then went about accusing that class of misbehaving as well. And when he found out who it was that was engaged in the act, he would point them out and punish them using extreme means.
The pastor used to take off his own beliefs and gave each of the students three giant lashes across their buttock region as well in the upper thigh area. Some of them were hit so badly that huge bruises were visible on the upper leg area.
It’s believed that he lined those kids up and would go on to whoop them with the belt. They used to have a huge sense of fear and dreaded coming eye to eye with the pastor, another parent mentioned during an interview for WFTV.
If that was not traumatizing enough, some of the kids also added how devastating it was to see the sort of punishments on offer because whipping them was just uncalled for, especially since their parents had no clue of what was going on at the institution.
