Matthew Perry’s former lover is facing plenty of backlash from the star’s friends and loved ones who feel she needs to stop making hurtful comments regarding his death.

 

Kayti Edwards has been making the headlines recently when she began to speculate more about how the star may have suffered from a relapse, right before his death. 

“I know Matthew and I know that he cannot just simply drown”- she mentioned while speaking during an interview for the UK Sun. This was reportedly published on Saturday.

Moreover, the celeb has also been accused by her for taking pills in the week that led to his untimely death and many feel that is incorrect to mention, considering how the toxicology reports failed to hint at any such ordeal. 

In the same way, the results of the autopsy are yet to be revealed, and until and unless that happens, the loved ones would respect it if she kept her mouth shut, instead of raising more intrigue about things that perhaps never even happened. 

“There is a lack of evidence to suggest that he was taking pills. No such drugs were located at his residence. Also, the only medications found had a subscription attached to them”- another insider added, slamming her claims as baseless and false. 

The narratives being given out randomly to the press must stop, the family mentioned as they are currently embarking upon a time of mourning and grief. “It’s difficult as it is, so can we not”- another person explained. 

The pair remained close and had a short fling in 2011 where she even worked as one of his assistants. But soon after that, they broke up.
