Clint Eastwood was pictured working on the set of what is rumored to be one of his final movies.
The 93-year-old actor, producer, and director didn’t show any signs of slowing down as he was spotted on the set of his upcoming movie Juror No. 2.
The filming took place in Savannah, Georgia, with the actor-turned-director overseeing the shooting of a scene featuring Toni Collette and Nicholas Hoult.
The Hollywood Reporter previously branded the movie as the Hollywood icon’s “last film” and an attempt to finish “one last project in order to be able to ride off into the sunset with his head held high.”
Eastwood, however, looked in high spirits and showed no signs of imminent retirement.
Joining Clint on the set were Collette and Hoult as well as other cast members including Zoey Deutch, Chris Messina, Kiefer Sutherland, and Leslie Bibb.
Lead actor Hoult, who plays a juror sitting for a murder trial in the movie, sported khaki pants and a black jacket over a gray T-shirt.
Juror No. 2 marks Eastwood’s 40th film as director. The iconic filmmaker previously revealed what kept him going this long without sacrificing his career in the process.
“I never let the old man in.
I think what keeps you going is just your interests in the work you are doing, and you are interested in the project you are working on at the moment, and if you don’t have that interest, you will find something else to do.
If you stop living forward, there’s nowhere to go but living backwards and that becomes nostalgia maybe, but nostalgia sometimes you have to set aside and say okay, let’s just move forward now, and enjoy it,” he said in a 2014 interview. What are your thoughts on this news?
