Matthew Perry’s final days were described to be very unlike the star’s nature, as his much-anticipated autopsy results proved.
While there is no sign of foul play being involved, the report shed light on the star’s last couple of days, leading to his death.
The shocking results’ copy was recently obtained by Page Six and they spoke about how one of the star’s female friends witnessed a complete flip in his nature and personality. He was outlined to be mean and angry, just a few weeks before his death had ensued.
The star was taking some testosterone shots too, alongside a mix of nicotine lollipops and ketamine. Moreover, his cause of death was mostly said to have taken place due to the aggressive levels of ketamine that were the equivalent of a patient undergoing surgery in general anesthesia.
The eye-opening report noted that alongside the lethal levels of ketamine that came mixed with buprenorphine, he was also taking the drug Tamoxifen to keep a check on his weight which was on the rise. Buprenorphine was taken to assist with his addiction to opioids while he was also taking his usual meds to keep his diabetes under control.
Right before his death, he was confirmed to have been taking great steps to help quit smoking. Meanwhile, his live-in assistant mentioned how he was smoking nearly two packets of cigarettes daily.
As far as the medical examiner’s report is concerned, it further exemplified how he relied so much on drugs that were prescribed to him as well as those available over the counter to assist in bettering his quality of life.
Inside the bedroom that belonged to his assistant, several open boxes of medication bottles were found and they were said to be prescribed to the star. A list of vitamins, digestion aids, and several other loose pills and capsules were also found, along with candy and breath mints – the report went on to explain.
