Tragic news about a Utah citizen’s death is leaving the country in mourning.
According to reports from local media outlets, the deceased included a pregnant mother who was reportedly driving home from work to surprise her family for Christmas. She was so excited to deliver the news about her expecting but little did she realize that fate had other plans in store.
The woman from Utah died on her way back home to Arizona for Christmas when her car was met in a horrifying crash. This left her husband severely injured but he miraculously managed to come out of it alive. The same could not be said for her, as she was declared dead by the paramedics.
Her husband is still fighting for his life in the critical care unit but he had to have his leg amputated. The victim is now being identified as Chloe Stott while her husband is Parker. Furthermore, it’s just so sad how the duo were all set to begin a memorable journey to surprise loved ones about the pregnancy.
The tragedy arose on Wednesday night, at a location near Wickenburg in Maricopa County.
The pair had only recently realized that they were expecting a child and just couldn’t control the excitement linked to it.Now, a GoFundMe has begun for the duo to cover the funeral costs and help with the husband who continues to mourn in pain and grief while recovering from his critical injuries.
Both mother and her unborn child died at the scene while paramedics rushed to attain more assistance for airlifting her husband to a nearby hospital as he was declared critical.
The incident arose when their pickup truck slammed head-on into a giant tractor truck at a pass. The vehicle was left completely smashed and it was just so tragic how all the events unfolded. Loved ones are in disbelief as they feel it just makes it so much worse knowing that Chloe is pregnant.
