Singing superstar Beyonce was left devastated during the holidays after receiving the most awful news on Christmas morning.
As per reports from local media outlets, the diva was reportedly so upset after her childhood home went up in flames during a terrifying Christmas inferno in Houston, Texas.
The star spoke about how the residence is where the singer lived from her birth to when she was just five years old as per reports from the Daily Mail.
This incident saw the flame rise at 2 am in the early hours of Monday morning. And it was heartbreaking to hear that, she added.
Thankfully, the star mentioned how nobody who lived there at the moment was hurt. As a result of that, people were awakened and forced to evacuate while still wearing pajamas.
For now, the cause of this blaze is yet to be known and is currently under investigation.
It was announced that most of the damage that arose was restricted to the building’s second story.
And when the news broke out, the response generated by the Fire Department was said to be quick with the Chief telling a local news station how it was a challenge but the teamwork allowed them to prevent the disaster from spreading. And in the end, within just 10 minutes, they had a great grip on the blaze.
Still, that was not enough to save the devastation that ensued. Residents were heartbroken as was the star who says she’s had so many beautiful memories attached to it and knowing that it was burned down to the ground was heartbreaking, to say the least.
