Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis, has left fans heartbroken after she shared a post celebrating their 16th anniversary.
Taking to social media, the 45-year-old model posted photos of her and the Die Hard star to commemorate their special anniversary.
One of the photos shows the couple hugging each other while another shows Emma kissing Bruce on the cheek.
“16 years with this special man. My love and adoration for him only grows,” Emma captioned her post.
It was in 2007 when the couple first met around three years after the Mercury Rising actor’s split from model Brooke Burns.
In January 2008, they made one of their first public appearance together during the Sundance Film Festival when Emma accompanied him to ‘What Just Happened?’ premiere.
The couple then got married in a romantic ceremony in Turks and Caicos on March 21, 2009, and welcomed two daughters, Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9.
Willis also shares three daughters with his ex, Demi Moore – Tallulah Belle Willis, 29, Scout LaRue Willis, 32, and Rumer Glenn Willis, 35.
Emma also took to her Instagram story and shared more photos, writing: “16 years together?! Lord where did the time go.”
Earlier this year, the family publicly announced that the actor had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
Since then, Emma has been giving fans updates about the Pulp Fiction actor’s condition.
“Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD),” Emma wrote.
“Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” she continued.
“Bruce always believed in using his voice in the world to help others, and to raise awareness about important issues both publicly and privately.”
