Superstar actor Adan Canto has reportedly passed away at the age of 42.
According to reports from local media outlets, the star was famous for his roles in Designated Survivor and X-Men. Heartbreaking tributes started to roll in from the industry as fans mourned the loss of great talent.
The actor was reported to be suffering from a cancer involving his appendix, his reps have confirmed. His publicist Jennifer Allen was one of the first few to break the news online, emailing more statements on Tuesday about how the family is devastated to confirm the news.

The star who hails from Mexico was known for having a depth and spirit to him like no other. Those who knew him on a personal level mentioned how he touched their lives, adding how he would be greatly missed.
Canto was born in Mexico but then was raised in the US state of Texas. He was praised for his leading role in the sci-fi movie X-Men where he worked alongside some of the biggest names in the Hollywood industry including Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen.
The movie went on to earn Oscar nominations for categories like visual effects in 2015 and established a strong name him for the star in the industry.
Canto reportedly began his career in the world of acting at just 16 after leaving for Mexico City where he worked as a singer and songwriter.
With time, he wished to pursue his skills in the world of acting and then made a television debut across Estado de Gracia.
Soon after that, his American debut came with the hit television series ‘The Following’ which also starred Kevin Bacon.
