Actor Gary Graham has passed away at the age of 73, his ex-wife revealed in a touching tribute.
The American actor, musician, and author had a fruitful career spanning over five decades during which he added over one hundred acting credits to his name.
Graham was arguably best known for his role as Detective Matthew Sikes in the TV series Alien Nation and its five subsequent movies. He was also well known for playing the Vulcan ambassador Soval in Star Trek: Enterprise.
His passing was announced by ex-wife Susan Lavelle who didn’t provide details or the cause of death in the tribute she shared on Facebook.
“It is with deep profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex husband, amazing actor and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today,” she wrote.
“We are completely devastated especially our daughter Haley. His wife, Becky, was by his side.”
Lavelle went on to say that she met Gary when she was just 20 years old as she recalled his early roles in movies and on television.
The ex-wife also branded the actor as a funny and sarcastic man with a great sense of humor who knew how to be kind and how to fight for what he believed in.
“This was sudden so please pray for our daughter as she navigates through this thing called grief,” she added.
“Fly high into the heavens Gar! Thank you for our journey and thank you for the gifts you left me in acting, my love of horses and most importantly, our daughter.
Our thoughts remain with Gary’s loved ones during this challenging time.
