Elisabeth Moss has spoken out in response to pregnancy rumors.
The 41-year-old British-American Emmy Award-winning actress and film producer broke her silence on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after she was spotted showing off her baby bump in Los Angeles earlier this week.
“Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?” the show host asked Moss who is currently filming the thriller Shell.
“A little bit of both,” she responded, confirming the pregnancy rumors.
“Not bad, actually. I’ve been really lucky. It’s been going really well.”
As the private person she is, however, Moss failed to provide details of her pregnancy such as the due date or the identity of the child’s father.
Speaking of the best advice he and his wife got, Kimmel went on to recall the suggestion made by comedian Bill Murray. He said: “He said bring Christmas lights to hang up [in the delivery room]. Because the lighting is terrible in the room. It’s Walmart-style lighting for this blessed event that’s going to happen and you don’t want that.”
The interview came just days after Moss was spotted on the set of Shell in LA earlier this week. In pictures taken by the paparazzi, the 41-year-old was seen looking relaxed in a big pink bathrobe.
Back in 2022, the actress spoke to Daily Mail’s YOU and admitted she wanted to have kids after being inspired by her mother, Linda.
“I definitely want to have kids because I’ve been very inspired by the kind of mother my mom is. She did a beautiful thing with me,” she said.
Moss also joked that she would entrust her children in her mom’s care after they were born.
“And then I’ll give the child to my mum and she can raise it because she’d do it very well!” she added.
