Prince Harry has a ‘zero percent chance’ of returning to the royal fold even though he flew to the UK to visit the King after he was diagnosed with cancer, palace sources claim.
His brother, Prince William, reportedly told his friends that he would not allow the Duke of Sussex to come back.
This comes after it was previously revealed that the Duke of Sussex would be willing to take on a royal role due to his father’s condition.
King Charles and Prince Harry are said to have had ‘warm’ conversations during the Duke of Sussex’s visit.
But a source told The Mirror that Prince William would not allow his brother to return to The Firm as he believes that he and his wife Meghan Markle ‘cannot be trusted.’
“It is absolutely and categorically clear that he (William) would not allow Harry to return,” the source said.
“There is a zero percent chance Harry is coming back in any capacity.”
Previous reports revealed that Harry told his friends that he would go back to Britain to take on a royal role while the King receives treatment.
But royal insiders claim that Palace aides ‘blocked’ Harry from having a heart-to-heart talk the King as they feared that they won’t be able to get rid of him.
Speaking to The Sun, the source said: “Harry came over to see his father, expecting to go to Sandringham. But instead he was asked to be at Clarence House and was restricted to 30 minutes.
“The fear was that if he went to Sandringham they would never get rid of him.”
This comes after the Duke of Sussex said in a recent interview that a family member’s illness could have a ‘reunifying effect’ on the family.
