A man reportedly passed away after falling into a giant hot spring in Yellowstone.

According to reports from local media outlets, Colin Scott who hails from Portland was only 23 at the time of his death. His sister and he had gone out for a walk to the Yellowstone National Park.

But he did not realize how one of the happiest moments of his life would end up taking his life. The duo were in search of a stunning hot pot location where they could soak into the greatness of the park’s natural thermal offerings.

For those who might not be aware, Yellowstone has one of the largest hot springs of them all in the US. So what happened to be a fun day was a major tragedy in the end.

His sister Sable mentioned how her brother was leading the way near the boardwalk of Port Chop Geyser and then something terrible happened. He had reached down to see the temperature of the water so dipped his hand inside. But by accident, he slipped and fell into that boiling pool.

 

This was his end as one day later, he had completely dissolved in the same location, leaving loved ones longing for their son.
