A former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader has reportedly died, just a day after doctors delivered her stillborn child.
According to reports from local media outlets, the victim was identified as Krystal Anderson who passed away from sepsis.
The doctors mentioned how they were left with no option but to remove the child after discovering there was no heartbeat in the 21-week-old child. She is believed to have died from a complication of sepsis after giving birth.
The 40-year-old was known for cheering the popular NFL team for years in more than 100 NFL games of the Kansas City Chiefs. After her career in cheerleading, she switched to being a software engineer for Oracle Health.
The family is now grieving this terrible loss and mentioned how she was always known for her radiant smile that could light up even the darkest of rooms as revealed in her obituary too. They released a statement on this front, where they added how devastated they were to learn about this all.
“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing and want you all to remember her in prayers”- the caption added.
