Indonesia’s Ruang volcano was seen erupting spectacularly recently and many were able to witness the incandescent live as it roared into the night sky.
The stunning footage shared by the country’s disaster mitigation agency proved how strikes of lightning started to flash into the sky and that forced authorities to take swift action.
This included fiery red clouds featuring lava as well as rocks that flew into the air and rained down to the ground around the island.
The agency went on to reveal how there was a strong eruption cloud that went as far as three miles into the sky and that meant an urgent warning was soon released to residents in the area to quickly evacuate as they feared more eruptions would soon take center stage of a similar kind.
Locals described the scenes to be horrifying as ash and grit started to fall from the sky into their towns. This forced motorists to switch on headlights during the day as it started to get dark and dangerous to drive during that period.
Moreover, the vibrations were said to be so intense that they started to shake the entire ground and that caused windows and beyond to crack, similar to how an earthquake would arise. This also prompted more tsunami warnings as the country feared for the worse.
