A hospital in the Netherlands has just reported some tragic findings related to its car park undergoing a complete collapse.
According to reports from local media outlets, the emergency services spoke about how they were not able to rule out the real number of casualties involved.
Many were said to be stuck beneath the rubble, leading to a very catastrophic and casual situation in the end.
Part of the garage at the St. Antony Hospital in the central city of Nieuwegein underwent a collapse situation as explained by emergency services.
For now, it was not immediately clear how many people were stuck under the rubble as no exact figure was allocated by officials so far.
The region’s head for security services mentioned through the X app how ramps utilized by vehicles to drive between floors inside the mega six-story building at the medical complex came crashing down.
All of the ramps underwent collapse as confirmed by the officials who spoke during an interview as they tried to bring the situation under control.
“We simply cannot rule out the casualties. We are not aware of how many people are stuck there. We are trying our best to carry out the rescue and relief operation”- the remarks further went on to explain.
Firefighters, police, and ambulances were seen rushing to the scene and many other agencies were also busy inspecting the building to determine if it was safe or not to enter.
The situation arose after regular visiting hours at the hospital so it’s expected the tragedy could have been much bigger if something happened before that.
