Hollywood legend Tom Cruise never misses a chance to impress and his epic stunt at this year’s Olympics closing ceremony in Paris has left fans in awe.
While most of us were quite aware that the Hollywood star was gearing up for a death-defying stunt, this was truly epic.
Cruise proved to many why he’s the leading name when it comes to action performers because this feature was straight out of the movies.
The 62-year-old was seen strapped into a harness and ready to wow thousands of fans in the French capital as the wacky ceremony came to a close.
He took his position while speeches concluded for this year’s grand finale, followed by a great rendition of the American national anthem. The actor then rappelled down into the ceremony stage from the roof of the Stade de France.
Cruise was handed the five-ringed Olympic flag by American star gymnast Simone Biles and the mayor of Paris which he loaded on the back of his motorcycle.
Dressed in his trademark Top Gun black leather jacket, the star drove it out of the arena, standing up, in true Cruise action style. During this time, fans and athletes watched in awe as the star made the switch to live performances from Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Snoop Dogg.
