Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s chief of staff has opted to quit after serving the couple a tenure of just three months.
The incident has raised concerns as it comes amid the couple’s planning of a trip to Columbia.
Josh Kettler is no longer working for the pair, an insider from California confirmed today. He has yet to go public about the matter but does not wish to be associated with the couple any longer and therefore quit.
Speaking to the Daily Mail Live on Monday, the outlet reported how Kettler was a close aide for the pair. He was even supposed to be accompanying them while they set out for their four-day visit to Columbia that begins on Thursday.
While the reason for the sudden departure is still a mystery, insiders feel it will come out soon as everything else does.
Reps for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are yet to respond to any requests for comments made by the outlet.
So far, it’s quite evident that the duo are having a hard time with retaining their staff members. Over such a short period, they have lost close to 18 employees since they tied the knot in 2018. That’s certainly worrisome, another insider explained.
What is even more interesting is how no employee who exited their doors has vowed or claimed to come back again. That just goes to show how the working conditions aren’t ideal.
