At least 14 people were killed after a bus carrying dozens of worshippers tumbled down a ravine into a river.
The horrifying incident arose in Nepal where sixteen others were said to be critically injured when the bus veered off the mountain and fell close to 500 feet near the Marsyangdi Rive that stopped on the rocky bank.
The top part of the bus carried around 40 pilgrims from India and it was ripped open during the crash that arose on Friday.
The victims were worshippers who were traveling from the Pokhara capital city of Kathmandu in Nepal when this incident arose.
It was in the central district of Tanahun as per reports from local media outlets. As per one armed police force spokesperson, Shailendra Thapa, a rescue and relief mission was underway.
While 14 were killed and declared dead on the spot, paramedics and armed forces did their best to save as many lives as they could in that short period. As a whole, 43 passengers were aboard the vehicle.
Most of the victims were said to be of Indian origin and the tragic news has spread across the Indian nation with loved ones mourning with grief after the tragedy.
