Passengers stranded aboard the tragic Bayesian superyacht spent their last moments desperately trying to reach the air pockets while the luxury vessel sank.
As per reports from local media outlets, the remains of six passengers were found by divers after a search operation that proved to be troublesome.
Now. experts are speaking about how the yacht could have sunk in just as little as 60 seconds after being unmoored in a terrifying waterspout tornado.
The drastic weather conditions left passengers with little to no chances to make a move as they did rush but many of them failed to exit on time.
Divers have located the black box that picked up loud and very dangerous sounds that took place aboard the ship’s doomed moment. The ship’s anchor couldn’t withstand the pressure of so much water entering inside.
This meant the victims were scrambling for air and resorted to the air pockets. It’s alarming how all but one crew member managed to get out, which was the chef who also lost his life amongst other victims onboard.
Now the question remains how and why this much water came inside and how that could have been avoided as the boat’s CEO has blamed the crew for escaping and leaving others to die when they could make the most of 17 minutes to spare.
